The Unicorn is an exclusive new linear switch brought to you by HippoKeys (manufactured by Gateron) and this is the first custom HippoKeys switch. We are very excited to share it with such a wonderful and supportive community!

We've been hard at work over the past 6 months, searching high and low for the Unicorn. We tried to find in many of the usual hiding places, and we talked to several manufacturers to see if they had seen one....but it wasn't until we teamed up with Gateron that a Unicorn appeared! With the help of the wonderful folks at Gateron, we were able to produce something very fun and special.

The Unicorn is a mysterious and mystical switch. A must-have for any collection. Don't be fooled by it's fun exterior - this switch is a force to be reckoned with! A smooth, medium-strong linear, with a two-stage spring which creates a fast and firm upstroke.

Note that these are PCB mount switches. In order to use them in 3-pin hotswap boards (plate mount) you will need to clip the 2 extra plastic pins (very easy to do). Please double check your board and confirm compatibility before buying.
